The service and paying for it
This page sets out what is sold, where and when it is provided, in what currency and when you are charged, how money is refunded, and how the payment is kept safe.
What is being sold
One service is sold here: hotel accommodation. No physical goods are sold and nothing is posted or couriered.
The price you pay covers:
- the room for the nights you chose, for the number of guests you stated;
- all taxes, including VAT at 12 % — the price shown is the final price;
- breakfast — it is in the rate and there is nothing extra to pay for it (Bohema Hotel, Navalis and Prie Parko);
- but not the city tax: that is paid at the hotel and is in none of the totals shown here (see /terms).
How the rates differ when it comes to cancelling is set out separately: /cancellation. Room types, photographs and descriptions are shown on the hotel's own website.
Where and when the service is provided
The service is provided at the hotel you chose. There is therefore no delivery and no delivery charge: there is nothing to ship.
You may book from any country and we accept payment from any country — there is no restriction by the guest's country. The service itself is always provided in Lithuania, at the hotel's address.
- The contract is fulfilled during your stay — from the arrival date to the departure date you gave when booking.
- Check-in and check-out times are in the house rules: /terms
- The hotels' addresses and reception contacts: /contacts
- The confirmation, with your booking reference, is emailed as soon as Paysera confirms the payment.
Currency
Prices are shown and settled in a single currency — EUR. The amount is passed to Paysera and charged to you in that same currency — there is no currency conversion on our side.
If your card or account is in another currency, the exchange rate and any fee are applied by your own bank or card issuer, not by us.
Ways to pay
Payments are taken by Paysera. When you proceed to pay you are sent to Paysera's own page, and it is there that you choose how to pay.
Online payments are processed by Paysera LT, UAB. We accept every payment method Paysera offers: — payment cards: Visa, Mastercard; — digital wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paysera Wallet; — bank links (payment initiation): Swedbank, SEB, Luminor, Citadele, LHV, Revolut, LKU credit unions and other European banks; — instalments (buy now, pay later). Which methods appear at checkout depends on your country and the amount — Paysera shows only those available to you. The definitive list is always shown at the payment step. The hotel neither receives nor stores your card details; these are handled by Paysera alone. No surcharge is applied for paying by card.
We add no surcharge for paying by card.
When you are charged
- You pay at the moment of booking, in a single payment, and the full price of the stay is taken. There is no deposit and no later instalment in this system.
- The card is debited when you confirm the payment on Paysera's page — not later that day, and not on arrival.
- While the payment is going through, the room is held for you for 30 minutes.
- A booking is confirmed only when Paysera confirms the payment was executed. If Paysera reports the payment as accepted but not yet executed, the booking stays pending — that is not yet a confirmed booking.
- Nothing further is charged by this system afterwards: it holds no card details and initiates no repeat payments.
- The city tax is put on your bill by the hotel itself, on arrival or at check-out.
Refunds
Whether money comes back is decided by the cancellation terms of the rate you chose. Those are set out separately, per hotel and per rate: /cancellation. What follows is only how a refund is actually made.
This system does not itself return money, and there is no self-service cancellation in it yet. A refund is initiated by the hotel through Paysera; contact the hotel and quote the booking reference from your confirmation email.
Refunds are returned to the same payment card used for the booking. We initiate the refund within 14 days of confirming the cancellation. Your bank may need a few further working days before the amount appears on your statement. How much is refundable is determined by the cancellation terms.
How the payment is kept safe
- You enter the card number, expiry date and security code on Paysera's own site. They never reach this system and are not stored here.
- Authenticating the payment — 3-D Secure, say, or signing in to your own bank — is done on Paysera's and your bank's pages.
- We accept a payment notification only after checking its cryptographic signature, and only when it is addressed to this hotel's own Paysera project. A foreign or unsigned notification confirms nothing.
- Before confirming a booking we compare the amount and currency in the notification against our own record. If they disagree the booking is not confirmed.
- Test payments are refused in production, so no booking can be confirmed with one.
- The sign-in cookie cannot be read by any script on the page, is not sent with requests from other sites, and in production travels only over an encrypted connection.
